Jimmy Pike inspired designs
Jimmy Pike was an Indigenous Australian artist who became well known for his use of bold lines and non-traditional colours. These designs were done by a Year 3/4 class of ESL students and I think they are simply stunning!

Art Teacher Workshop - ArtEdWA
I was very pleased to be invited to run a presentation/workshop for some fellow art teachers for the Art Education Association of Western Australia recently. I spoke about how I use artists as inspiration in my art room (both local and international artists as well as current and historical). Such a great opportunity to meet other inspiring teachers and get a chance to do some creating ourselves!!
I chose three of my favorite artists to focus on (Shaun Tan, Gustav Klimt and Stormie Mills). Some of the results are below!
A very overdue update for 2015!
