Jimmy Pike was an Indigenous Australian artist who became well known for his use of bold lines and non-traditional colours. These designs were done by a Year 3/4 class of ESL students and I think they are simply stunning!
Hi Sharon, to be honest, there wasn't much of a process for this project. We looked at lots of Jimmy Pike designs and takes about his patterns and use of bright colours. Then the kids came up with their own designs, coloured them and then some chose to outline as well. 😊
That's just lovely!
